SUMMARY:VIRTUAL EVENT: Daily News and Views from the AONB during COVID-19 — EXTENDED
DESCRIPTION:Owing to the popularity of this event\, it has now been extended for a further fortnight. \nWith our main events all suspended until after the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted\, we are replacing our normal programme with a daily Virtual Event running on our Facebook social media channels.  Each day (or as often as we are able to) members of the Trust will provide short summary of news and photos from our daily permitted exercise activity in or around the AONB\, for the benefit of those unable to visit the area at the moment.  We also welcome contributions to this event from anyone able to be out and about\, or merely with views or reminiscences of the area to share with others.  We recognise that this is a poor substitute for actually being in the Arnside and Silverdale AONB in the beautiful spring weather\, but we hope that it will help tide everyone over until these darks times are over and we can all get out and about again. \nYou can follow the event on our Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/ASLandscapeTrust/) or follow and contribute to the event yourself on our Facebook Group (Arnside & Silverdale AONB Landscape Trust (Official)).  The latter is a closed group so you are not already a member of that group on Facebook you will need to submit a join request and wait for this to be approved before you will be able to see or contribute content. We will process all such requests as quickly as we can — usually within an hour or so\, often less. \nThis event is free and open to all.

DESCRIPTION:With our main events all suspended until after the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted\, we are replacing our normal programme with a daily Virtual Event running on our Facebook social media channels. \nThis new virtual event is an extension to our “News and Views of the AONB” social media event\, aimed at those people who remain unable or unwilling to take advantage of any relaxation of the COVID-19 restrictions.  The event is intended to provide an opportunity for participants to share whatever marvels (or horrors\, even) of nature they may encounter in the close environs of their homes\, allowing everyone to participate fully and also continue to SAFE HOME; STAY SAFE for as long as they feel this is necessary. \nYou can participate in the event on our Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/ASLandscapeTrust/) or follow and contribute to the event yourself on our Facebook Group (Arnside & Silverdale AONB Landscape Trust (Official)).  The latter is a closed group so you are not already a member of that group on Facebook you will need to submit a join request and wait for this to be approved before you will be able to see or contribute content.
