R2 – Families Day at Coldwell Horseshoe Reserves: Get Close to Nature!

A close look at what’s growing and living on the hay meadows, limestone grassland and woodland that we are developing at these linked areas. Featuring flowers, grasses, butterflies, bugs, beetles and spiders (tiny ones)
This is a free event, suitable for all ages. There is no need to book, just turn up and stay as long as you like but wear outdoor clothes and shoes, as you might want to get your hands (and knees) dirty or even delve into the nettles (not compulsory).
Water will be available if you bring your own reusable cup or bottle.
Please note that this event will be cancelled if it is a wet day, as this sort of thing is no fun in the rain!

Your request will be dealt with as quickly as possible but please be aware that orders entered via the online system (where available) may be processed ahead of your request. In cases when there are only two or three places left you will always stand the best chance of securing the places you want by using the online booking option, if this is offered.
For our bookable events, the precise start location and details will normally only be released to those with confirmed bookings. This information will be sent by email either with the booking confirmation, or communicated to you by telephone if you have not provided an email contact address.
