W5 – Gait Barrows in all its Aspects

Please note that dogs are not permitted on this walk.
This is a general walk enjoying the flora, fauna and landscape of Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve, hopefully taking in the Lady’s-slipper orchid and possibly Duke of Burgundy butterfly. It is being led by Mike and Jean Warren who are keen natural historians and have led many walks in the past. The walk is 3.5 to 4 miles in length, mainly level with some rocky paths, and will explore various permitted paths within the reserve. The event should finish by 12.30pm.
As the number of participants is limited to 20, booking is essential
